Happy Birthday!

Sixteen years ago today, our beautiful little girl arrived a month premature, looking like a skinned rabbit, weighing in at 5lbs 13oz.

These days she’s a bit bigger, but just as beautiful.

Only another two years and she can carry your tent on the TGO. (Tip: A sure way to get on the TGO is to take an 18 year old. They like the age span thing)

Rhiannon?! You're 'avin' a larff, int ya!
Now my boy Aedan, he's got it marked in his diary. His birthday being 6th May, should mean he can come with me for his birthday in three and a half years. Yey.

You mean Rhiannon is not in Awe of mothers adventures and wishes desperately to follow in the footsteps? Does she not realise that there is a Next at the summit of every peak.

Sadly, no. Rhiannon is not a Walker, but the other three are all keen and keen to Challenge too!

I think you ought to re-phrase that- She looks lovely! She must get her looks from David...

Happy Birthday, Miss!

Trust you, Sloman.
She is lovely, luckily she hasn't inherited all of her father's features...

Olly (No 1 son) was 16 on 30th May.
I reckon he will be too busy playing Rugby by the time he gets to 18.
But Harriet (No 1 Daughter) wants to do the Challenge once she gets old enough (well she says that now), so that will be 2016 then.
Worrying though, because it was only a short while ago I was carrying them both about. This TIME thing is going forwards way too fast for my liking!
Hope I am still here by then! :)

Hi Andrew!
I suppose three out of the four wanting to Challenge isn't a bad score. Could end up being some family outing!
This time thingy is galloping, I'm not ready.
