West Lomond

Another in the Occasional Trigpointing Series, with my other Occasional Walking Partner…

We had an opportunity for a little walk when Conall had to attend Development Squad (DS) training in Glenrothes. West Lomond was a handy nearby hill with trigpoint that would also allow us the time to visit David’s family close by.

We headed off towards Falkland then veered off a little west to pick up a minor road to the car park where we deposited the car and set off in a general westerly direction. The little pimple we were aiming for was quite obvious.

It was a quick and simple walk out, short, stiff climb to the trig then off the back of the hill, round the side and back to the track we’d walked in on. A nice stroll.

Oooh, we were there earlier in the year!

That selfie - were you just receiving a message in your secret earpiece when you took it?

Think I've just got too use to taking a selfie with the front facing camera on my mobile, far easier than with the camera (nice shot of my left ear...) So that is the Face of Concentration!
