A little while ago, well, 11th
November, to be precise, Laura and I went for a walk. We had intended to do the
Fishwives walk, but we’re short of daylight at this time of year and this walk
would require car shuffling and therefore an early start, so instead, we met at
Chrisitie’s Garden Centre, Fochabers and set off from there for a little circuit
involving Slorach’s Wood, Wood of Ordiequish part of the Speyside Way and a
couple of trigs.
It was a lovely day, we had a great
time and a good natter, as per usual. There were public conveniences, some up,
some along, some down, some tarmac, a picnic and a coffee. A nice day
out!
Roughly a total of 10.5 miles and
1,082 ft ascent. Such fun!
The first trig, Thief’s Hill
I was there too…
