Well, as Laura knows, she's on stand by :-( so I'll wait a while before I decide on Plan A or B. M & G also know they are in. I won't spill anyone elses beans in case they don't know, but these are important ones to start with.
Robin, I am so sorry, especially after you had to retire last year. If you don't get on from stand by (been there, done that. The waiting is miserable) I hope you have something else special up your sleeve.
Thanks Martin! And you're right, getting bad news is miserable. My planning is complete in reality, wjat I really need to do is get fit!! Perhaps our paths eill cross somewhere? Perhaps Montrose?!
This could be an interesting exercise in the efficiencies of Royal Mail.
ReplyDelete300 or so envelopes all posted on the same day at the same place. A plot of when & where they arrived would be useful data.
It used to take three days for a first class letter posted in Cambridge to reach me: Just 14 miles away.
No mail at Bury St Edmunds yet, though (Lord Elpus is our "lead" walker)...
I could tell you... ;-)
ReplyDeleteTemptress!
ReplyDelete:-)
We *should* be on, as it's Phil's tenth. I'm more interested in seeing who else made in on though, so that would involve you typing 320 names...
:-)
Well done, btw for getting on: One of the good guys!

ReplyDeleteOh, and thank you!!
ReplyDeleteHave a great time. Unfortunately I wasn't successful and I'm a long way down the standby list.

ReplyDeleteWell done and gutted for those who missed out. Had the bad news before. Get on to planning and all the best.

ReplyDeleteAll paths lead to Montrose on the TGOC.
