Father and son bonding
We’ve had some good weather at times recently, so we took advantage a couple of weekends ago to do some tent maintenance. Unfortunately our garden is not quite big enough to accommodate The Palace, so we had to be resourceful.
Over the fence. That’s a big tent and our boy on step ladders!
The hose will be long enough…
Giving it a good soaking
But it was obviously going to take some time and I got bored
It was a little while ago Martin, it's dried and put away again now. And no, the lawn most certainly does not need watering! Think you could probably row a boat across it at the moment :-)
Are you sure it's completely dry, Louise??? One of my friends has a GP14 dinghy that he often rows across his garden. Sadly our housing estate doesn't provide opportunities for such fun, though a couple of years ago we could for a day or two have gone skiing from home!
Am I missing something, or have you got your tent confused with your lawn, Louise, which may need watering if you have drought conditions up there!?
ReplyDeleteIt's raining enough now Martin!
ReplyDeleteYou'll be nice and dry in the tent though... but doesn't the lawn need watering?
