It had occured to me Mike, that this could be a bit daft.
Gayle, are you applying this year? Excellent, I doubt our paths would cross enroute, because mine is low and sensible, (easier for the mad axeman to find...) but I'm looking forward to meeting a few more bloggers in the bar at Montrose!
Ah! Must get out and get my own copy then (currently sifting through Humphrey's, just to get it all crumpled for him when he gets back...) Well done Louise - you'll have a whale of a time. (There was no comparisons meant, btw, between whales and your posterior, cos that would be mean and heartless and I'm not like that. Phil, on the other hand....) :-)
We will indeed by applying. Intend to track down a copy of TGO tomorrow (our subscription having expired in August, in a rather ill-timed way).
Question now is whether we're going to do our next Big Walk next year, and whether we're going to run the TGOC onto the end of it...
Hopefully will bump into you somewhere on the route, as well as at the end. Mick's in charge of route planning this time, and says that he's going to make it a more sociable crossing than our last one.
You've done it now.....
ReplyDeleteTGOC application? Not even got our hands on one yet!

Well, here's hoping we all make the draw!
