Even if it is more than doubtful we’ll sneak off the stand by list…
1. I have an easy life, the depression is more lifted than otherwise (all that walking)
2. I have an excuse to drink champagne (Tattinger, of course)
3. I passed my photography course (that’s the excuse for the champagne. The best I could come up with)
Did someone mention champagne? I’m off!
Congratularions on passing the photography course. A reasonable excuse for a drop of vino collapso, I think.
ReplyDeleteWord is reiss. Thats very neiss.
Thanks Mike! An excuse does have to be reasonable at the very least, don't you think? I'll avoid the reis(s)(ling) though, not dry enough for me.
ReplyDeleteGot some more Glenmorangie stashed. Somewhere...
(Wanders off to find the amber nectar)
Hi Louise - I'm still hanging on hoping (but I think in vain) for the TGO call....
ReplyDeleteCongratulations on passing the photography course!
Well done on passing! Have you any idea what number you are on the list now? (It closes at the end of March, doesn't it?)
ReplyDeleteIf you don't get on, why not do just a bit of it - tag along for a few days in the middle as a guest?
At the last count, using Andy Howell's number on the list, we were around 43-44, I'm kinda hoping other people between Andy and us on the list have pulled out and more than 18 have got on! If you see what I mean.
ReplyDeleteIf we don't get on, mum's still coming up to stay, cattery and overnights booked, etc., so we will have to go away for a few days (have to, can't afford the alcohol if we don't...) and I was half planning a route around the Lairig Ghru, Bynack More or nearby, so we could bump into a few folk.
I'll put more thought into 1st April...
